once upon a time

Once upon a time in a faraway magical land Tavik launched their spring/summer 09-10 swimwear collection with a photoshoot of Sports Illustrated proportions...minus the beach.

Their range comes complete with frills and bows a plenty, cut outs in all the right places if you're six foot five and curvy, all the basic colours of the rainbow and a few pairs of mickey mouse ears to boot. Ain't nothing like a cartoon character to bring out your inner sex kitten right?

Which brings me to the conclusion that Disney will never get old. Street fashion the world over has been taking a leaf out of Walt Disney's story books for years now and will undoubtedly continue to do so. I myself am on the hunt for a vintage minnie mouse tshirt I parted ways with years ago.....oh the sadness.

Here's hoping I find what I'm looking for and live happily ever after.

tallulah tuesdays

So technically it's not tuesday anymore but I've never been one for details. All I know is that on tuesday's I like to celebrate the beauty that is Tallulah Morton. To me, she is just perfection of the highest order, coupled with a hint of rock and just enough edge to compensate for her almost angelic features.

And in other breaking non-tuesday related news, here is some editorial for L'Officiel Hommes Italia's fall/winter issue. Where its all about the styled pattern clash, made to look effortless. Pretty pretty. Proof to all, that sometimes boys just do it better.

monday pretties

Ain't nothing finer than a lazy weekend spent down the coast, with sweeping views of the ocean, a glass of rose in one hand and some Acne reading material in the other

It was all good food, great company, chatting about nothing long into the night, sleeping in, waking up content, sun glorious sun, more food, music that makes your skin tingle, cadbury chocolate that melts on your tongue, chilling with your family

And then you arrive at that point. That point on a Sunday when you know if you go to sleep you're going to have to wake up on a Monday

and so now, here we are

wondering out aloud if these girls ever get Monday blues?
