good girl, gone bad

Does anyone remember when Rihanna (real name Robyn Rihanna Fenty) first came on the scene? She was cute yeah? Unusual voice which made you take notice, pretty girl but there was nothing super amazing that made you think WOW...at that time I would've said it was her affiliation with Jay Z (she was officially his new prodigy) that kept people talking about her.

A few songs later though and you realised she wasn't just Jay Z's little girl anymore. She cut her hair, upped the fashion stakes and Fenty got fierce. I just can't get enough of what she does. Whilst I doubt many others could do what she does, she seems to pull it off with aplomb.

Ch-check out her catwalk viewing choices at this weeks Paris Fashion Week. She has graced the scenes of Christian Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier and Givenchy and caused more of a stir than the collections themselves. The French would be screaming Disturbia but I myself would Take a Bow.

  4. I think she's really interesting in the fact that her stage character's presence is reflected in her every day style. That edgy, sharp look is hers, everyday. There's nothing soft or personable about her. She seems unapproachable. I miss the little Rhianna who asked the DJ to turn the music up. She just seemed like a sweeter person.
